Long Island based artist Abby Brickner has been honing her skills in painting, drawing, digital imaging, and mixed media for the past several years at Drew University. Abby’s knowledge of marketing and audience engagement, as well as her background in Psychology and Studio Art, has allowed her to construct spaces to present questions through her art. Her recontextualization of common media imagery and technology seen in politics and mass production provides her audience a space to reconsider the world around them. She also focuses on the relationship between reality and illusion in her photo and technology collages, toggling with different methods of application to consider new perspectives.
